Last month we has an unusual phenomenon called a "blue moon" and I was able to get some decent shots as it rose over downtown Calgary. Yes, it is a full moon, but do you know what makes it a "blue moon"? There are actually two sets of criteria that create a "blue moon". Can you tell me either of them?
If you can tell me either (or both) of the criteria that a full moon is called a "blue moon", click HERE and fill in the form with your answer(s) and on Thursday, September 26th, I will draw a name from the correct answers for a pair of tickets to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. Even if you are not a sports fan, it is a great place to visit.
Here is a hint for one of them, (oh, this makes it too easy). One one the criteria ia two full moons in what period of time? The second is harder but I'll see if you can figure it out on your own. I'm pretty sure Google know the answer!
