Well, it's that time again. The time when I try to stump you with a new picture taken somewhere in Calgary (I'm not too successful and the "stump" part) and give a great prize to someone with the right answer. This month, the prize is for a pair of ticket to a new Calgary attraction, The Skyline Luge. What is the Skyline Luge you ask? It is a new summer ride at Canada Olympic Park. You ride/drive a sled down the world's longest track (1.8 kilometers) with a 100 meter (328 ft.) drop. You can check out a VIDEO on YouTube or by clicking HERE. This looks like a lot of fun, so be sure to ENTER.
What the............?? That doesn't look like something you will find in Calgary. But it is. I'm sure you can figure it out with a little thought and logical deduction. You like a good mystery, right? The picture is taken from a railing about 15 feet above. The picture below supplies a hint (a pretty big hint). With a prize like this, it is definitely worth your time to ENTER. The questions are:
- Where would you see the above sight in Calgary, and
- What is that rope attached to?
If you can answer either of those questions, (another hint - it is another famous Calgary attraction) click HERE and fill in the form with your answer(s). On August 29th, I will draw one name from the correct responses and the winner will win a pair of passes to the Skyline Luge in Calgary!
