Have Your Say

What would you most like to see in the Downtown West End?

The City of Calgary is again asking for your input.  And, they are doing in an interesting and innovative way.  A web site has been set up at www.mydowntownwest.com where people can sign up for an account, then add their own ideas, read what others are saying and vote with one of four buttons. They are "I Love It", "I Like It", "It's OK" and "Neutral", (I notice it is politically correct, there is no "I Hate It" option!).

The site also asks what you would like to see done with the old Science Centre location with the same voting options. At the time of this writing there are 43 suggestions from Calgary citizens.  Some of these include a farmer's market, indoor skate park, art gallery (various themes on this one) and some mixed use.

You can also lend your thoughts on reducing the impact on the environment and even upload photos of the downtown west end. So, check it out and have your say.
